How to register on the Collaborate PlayReady Support Portal

1. Requirement and Steps

Users need to:

  1. have an active PlayReady agreement in place
  2. have a Microsoft Personal Account - this is a Microsoft Account recognized as a personal account, not as a work or school account
  3. have this Microsoft Personal Account registered by the Microsoft PlayReady Team

1.1. Have an active PlayReady Licensing Agreement

Contact the lawyers of your company to verify this fact.

1.2. Get a Microsoft Personal Account if you don't have one

1.2.Option A. Create a new Microsoft Account

If you don't have a Microsoft Account yet, please create one here: https://signup.live.com

You can't sign up with a work or school email address (like @microsoft.com). You have to use a personal email (like @gmail.com or @yahoo.com), or get a new Outlook email (@outlook.com).

1.2.Option B. Rename your existing Microsot Work Account to Personal

If you have an existing Microsoft Account recognized as a work or school account, you have to rename it to a Personal Account.

Note: if you don't succeed in re-using an existing Microsoft Account, we suggest you create a new one and have it registered by the Microsoft PlayReady Team

1.3. Have your Microsoft Personal Account registered by the PlayReady Team

Please email from your Corporate email address to askDRM@microsoft.com and include your Microsoft Personal Account in the email.

You will receive an email confirmation on your Corporate email address in the next business days.

After the Microsoft Team has added you to the Collaborate User Group, you'll be able using your Microsoft Account to log in the Microsoft Collaborate PlayReady Landing page.

2. Users migrated in December 2017 from CONNECT to COLLABORATE

Users registered on the CONNECT Portal have been migrated to the COLLABORATE Portal on December 20, 2017. They will be able to log in the Collaborate PlayReady Support Portal using the same Microsoft Account (email and password) that they yused on the CONNECT Portal.
During the migration, they have received in their Microsoft Account inbox an email like the below. It is important to clikc on the link "Get Started" and follow the instructions to complete the migration of your account to COLLABORATE.
