Restore the Default SQL Server Management Studio Configuration

Users new to SQL Server Management Studio might have inadvertently closed or hidden windows and might have trouble restoring Management Studio to the original layout. The following steps restore Management Studio to the default environment layout.

• To restore windows to their original locations, on the Window menu, click Reset Window Layout.
